The diagnosis of aCML is made by testing the blood and bone marrow.

What are the prospects for people with aCML?
Chances of recovery and survival time depend on many factors, including the number of red blood cells and platelets in the blood.

Can aCML be eliminated from the body?
Unfortunately, no. Few people with aCML have lasting recoveries.

How is aCML treated?
There is no established treatment for aCML. New therapies are under investigation, including one that targets the kinase protein. It is now being studied in clinical trials.
